Diva-Montegue 1-14-11 Litter

2-1-11 This litter is far too advanced for my sanity!  Last night they were already crawling out of their pool and exploring their "condo", sleeping on Mom's bed... one of them was examining the water bowl too closely, so it's time for the raised bowls bench so that can't get near it. Diva's canned food (don't like canned food but the mom's like it when nursing) was enticing and two of the pups got into the bowl and started licking up the food.  They are just over two weeks old!  Far to early for me! 13 mobile and curious puppies wasn't expected for another week.  :)  Out went the pool and in went the 42" crate with bedding so they can go in and out and start learning to love their crate.  An hour later, two were on Diva's bed sleeping and another one was in search of adventure. 


1-31-11  Puppies have received their first sets of de-wormings.  They hated every minute of it and let me know it, too.

1-31-11 Just realized the reason that Males 6 & 7 in the individual photos below look so much alike is because they are the same puppy --- I copied over Male 6 with 7's pix when I downloaded them.  A big OOPS and sorry.  Will re-do tomorrow! Teri

1-24-11  I'm starting to add photos to the website as i get them taken and edited.  if you would like to see more of any particular pup, let me know.  i take a bunch but edit and upload two each to the website.  I'll upload one of each here so that you can see them all in one place for comparison. 

Eyes are not yet opened - they should begin opening any day now and be opened by about 2 weeks.  They start trying to walk (wobbling) around between 2 and 3 weeks! 

1-23-11

The new litter of chocolates has taken me away from taking lots of photos of the Diva litter!  So, I'm making up for lost time today and apologize that the one week photos are a couple days late!  The litter is doing great and Diva is such a good mom.  She's starting to spend more time outside the puppy area and interact with us more as she takes some much needed "personal" time away from nursing and caring for 13 puppies.  They are getting bigger and fatter by the day, so even with13 of them, they are all well fed.  Lots of pix have been added to the montage and today i'm working on getting individual photos.  Enjoy!

The puppies are getting so big already and are healthy and noisy!  Planning to get individual photos tomorrow.
