7 week photos

Keeper Robertson (Male 1) left for Hollywood, California this morning.

I don't know why this photo won't show right side up - I give up.  That's my daughter, Kimi, checking in at Southwest on her way to visit family in Los Angeles.  Keeper kept her company on the flight and will meet his new mom and dad at LAX.

Big week for ME this week...... busy busy busy

So, the pups have been matched to all their wonderful families, and now my paperwork begins.
This week I'll be:
  • Registering their microchips into your names and sending you the information
  • Preparing Puppy Packets to give you at pick up or mail you ahead of shipping date - puppy packets will include signed contracts and health records (which will also be emailed to you to have ahead of pick up dates), copy of training dvd, puppy songs cd for the kids, dvd with all your puppy pix, litters pix, parents pix and testing/pedigree copies, videos, etc.
I don't see how 8 hours of work can be put into two little bulleted sentences, but I'll be busy busy busy - honest.

Your puppies had their 6-week shots yesterday and their first day of the three-day series of six week wormings.  Nails were clipped, and lots of individual time (two to three pups at a time) was given, and I am happy to report that Wilson Belak and Keeper Roberts both love to chase the Shark steam mop across the floor.  Cooper Gershengorn was less interested in the Shark but enjoyed being held while he watched me mop and Wilson & Keeper attack the Shark.  Each one had special time and I feel deeper in love with each one of them.  I absolutely love these puppies and will hate to see them leave.  Puppy poop aside, and that's a big "aside", I have had a blast with them all.  Their different personalities are a hoot to watch develop, and the way they all look at me as if I hung the moon makes me get "the dreaded big head."  They will soon be looking at YOU that way and your heart will melt even more than it already has.  Thank you for your confidence in us which means we get to have more litters like these which means I will get to hang the moon once again with our new litters.  :)

Also, if you  hear less of me this week it's not because I don't love you, it's because the families waiting for their chocolates are getting my attention as we match pups etc. just as we did for you last week.  I'm also behind on their puppy photos so after I finish the puppy palooza video montage I'm working on the chocolates and then will get your puppies' photos, too.

Somewhere in there, I will be working on our upcoming breeding schedule and BREEDING three of our girls who have all just gone into heat - Chloe, Monique, and Minnie, two of whom are in guardian homes, and I'm thinking that Diva's guardian family would probably like to have her back soon, too, so a trip to Memphis is in order UNLESS ONE OF YOU MEMPHIS FAMILIES WOULD LIKE TO TAKE DIVA TO GERMANTOWN WITH YOU ON YOUR WAY HOME.  There will be no monetary compensation "but you'll have total consciousness on your death bed, and you'll have that going for you, which is nice."  (Stolen from Caddyshack, ala Bill Murray.)

PUPPY PALOOZA montage of pix-videos is ready!

We had so much fun!  A houseful of people, some back for another visit, some seeing the pups for the first time.  All humans were very well behaved and no "accidents" reported.  The puppies loved the attention and were hugged, kissed, carried, held, and loved on for three hours!

THANK YOU ALL FOR VISITING WITH US! Teri & Michael
